Turkan Najar is a freelance photographer, world traveler, and philanthropist living in the city of Seattle.
After traveling the world and capturing the beauty of the people and places around her, Turkan turned her love for photography into a fully indulged career in 2012. Through her photography, Turkan strives to capture the beauty in all things while also sharing people’s stories. This passion spills over into other facets of her life and she is actively involved in charity work supporting animal rights, working toward solutions to the world’s refugee crisis, and supporting efforts for better stewardship of our planet. In her down time, Turkan enjoys writing for her blog and working on short films. Turkan has added corporate and commercial photography to her resume as she regularly photographs beauty and lifestyle for Flawless Beauty Bars and has done corporate photography for Comfort Systems USA (Northwest). Today, Turkan primarily photographs beautiful events for Create & Cultivate and other events based in the greater Seattle area and Los Angeles. and spends a majority of her summer and fall seasons shooting weddings around the Pacific Northwest.
